Disclaimer, you must read the entire post. The 5 stars are for a reason…… I placed the order well before Valentine’s Day for pink roses. On the on-line order form there was an area for special instructions so I explained the flowers needed to be delivered before 3 pm because where they were going closed before then. The flowers do my wife no good at hime as she spends most of her time at work. I also opted for text messaging updates.
Valentine’s Day comes and it’s close to 4 pm when I realize I did not get texts from the flower shop or the my wife. I found this unusual so I called the flower shop and was reminded it was a holiday and they were busy. Never the less, they asked for an alternate address. Needless to say, the flowers did not show up until after 7 pm and they were wilted. Understand, my wife goes to bed really early….so she went to bed thinking I forgot her on such a special day!!!! When they arrived, I had to accept the flowers, which were wilted, and she was already in bed.
The next day, I called the flower shop and expressed my frustration regarding the situation. A nice man helped me out.
The very next day, a BEAUTIFUL AND FRESH delivery of the same flower order was sent to the address where they originally supposed to go. My wife was so HAPPY!!!!!! I received a photo of the flowers and WOWWWW!!!!!!!
I REALLY appreciated how they turned a negative and frustrating situation into such a positive experience. They truly showed what customer service should be and it was greatly appreciated.
I felt it was important to mention what originally happened to challenge everyone in realizing just because there was an oversight, it can, and was fixed creating a truly positive experience.
They deserve the 5 stars because not everyone would have gone out of their way to make things right.
